Filthy Mime is Cards Against Humanity meets Charades. You will have a deck of cards, a player will randomly pick a card. They will then attempt acting out what is on the card while the other players make their best guess. The player at the end who has the most cards and apparently the dirtiest mind wins!! This is a must party game for anyone who enjoys ridiculously raunchy fun!

We were given this copy to play it, review and give feedback. This is guaranteed to make you laugh, blush and may even learn some new sexual terms! I know I did! I had no idea what snow-balling was called is until I read the card! Bahaha! So loose up, have a drink or a few and have fun! You never know how your conversation and night will end!

RUN BUG RUN

RUN BUG RUN is on Kickstarter right now!

Run Bug Run is a cute family racing game that has some depth and replay value. You get to pick your character choice of which bug you would like to be. Each bug has it’s own special abilities! I personally like the Ladybird (Ladybug) You get to view other players cards with her ability!

I would recommend this game for children 8 and up. However, younger kids could play depending no their personal gaming skills. My 5 yr old wont sit long enough for this game. There are lots of rules and its takes roughly 30 minutes to play.

The key things we enjoy about this game, The re-playable value. Every time you set up this game you get to to mix and match a racing field that all the players agree upon. Making it different every time you play. However, the best thing about this game. It’s it is FAMILY FRIENDLY!

We are back!!

Hey guys. We had taken a few months to slow down. Spend some family time together! However, We are back full force by the end of this week! So happy to be back and play games more. A update on us. We are just a regular family who loves board games. However, we have had some huge events happening in our lives the past few months.

This Halloween, I convinced everyone to dress as TMNT. This was a win for me! I have tried many years to do a family theme.

Zayden had his first school performance ever! He played a Native American. So very proud of him for doing a good job and he nailed his line!

Anyce performed in what may be her last ballet concert this December. She played a mouse in the Nutcracker. Anyce has been learning ballet since the age of 3. She did a wonderful job!

However she found a new love and that is running. She has started a wonderful program called “Girls on the Run” She is now about to run a 5k a few times a week! I am so amazed at what she set’s her mind to.

Minecraft The Card Game ?

This Minecraft card game surprised me. It’s much better than I had excepted. I am pleasantly surprised. This game is fun. It’s great for families and it will be a wonderful filler game. Best of all is the theme. Which I am a sucker for.

Ages 8+
Players 2-4
Playing time 15-30 minutes

Object of the game is each the goal points first. Point goal changes depending on the number of players.
2 players is 24 points
3 players is 20 points
4 players is 16 points

Basics of the game. Players will “mine” resource cards and then use your cards to “craft” an item. When you craft an item you will earn points and be able to use that crafted items tool power.

Tool Powers
Sword: Used to defend a creeper
Shovel: You can force another player to skip one action in their turn
Pick Axe: Used to get 1 extra action on your turn
Axe: May count as 2 woods when crafting an item
Hoe: Used to clean the top card off of every resource pile

During each turn you will be able to make 2 actions. You may play and combination of actions you want for your turn.There are 3 types of action Mine, Craft, or Reserve.
Mine is collecting a resource from the top of the pile into your hand.
Craft is using you resource that are require to mine a item. Once you mine your item place it in front of you & discard your used resources.
Reserve is placing a card you desire into your reserve card holder. You may one reserve one card at a time.

Creepiest Pet Shop

Creepiest Pet Shop by Creepy Tiki Games. This speed matching card game is creeply cute. The objective is to be the best employee of the month. You will be helping monsters adopt creepy pets that will match their family. They player who places the most pets into their forever homes wins!

What we loved about Creepiest Pet Shop ? Is pretty much everything. The first thing I noticed was the creepy cute artwork. Anyce and I (Amber) both love creepy things. So, of course we had to play this game! The most important thing about this game is everyone in our house can play! There is an sensitive or non readers variant. Perfect for Zayden who is 5 and isn’t reading. Along with also being a sensitive player. He hates losing & will sometimes quit games, when he thinks he is wont win. He is getting better thankfully!

We are looking forward to the kickstarter! This a game we will be backing. What we are most looking forward to seeing with the Kickstater to see what stretch goals can get unlocked. Along with card quality being a stronger (Keep in mind we have a demo game) We are rough with our cards because we play hard, we are racing to be first & sometimes a card or two may not survive. I hope you decide to check it out!

P.S My favorite card is the Vincent Price wild card!!!

How do you Play?

Each turn is divided into 4 phases

Discard/Draw: You can discard up to 3 cards. You draw until your at your max hand. Max will start at 5 and will then depend on effect cards.

Effect: You play an effect card on yourself or your opponent.

Revealing Pets: Starting with the oldest player reveal 2 pets. (If an effect card is play the person who flips it over is effected)

Adoption: Once all pet cards are revealed you immediately can adopt pets by being the fastest player to match the symbols required for adoption.

After all pet cards have been claimed, players count the symbols on their pet cards. The player that has the most symbols on their Pet Cards wins the game and is the employee of the month at the Creepiest Pet Shop!!!

Boo’ing!! What is it?

Boo’ing is our families favorite Halloween tradition. Boo’ing is all about doing something for someone else and making them feel special! You can make something or buy something a small or as big as you want. However, it needs to be Halloween themed. Which makes it even more fun!

After you get together your Halloween goodies for either your neighbors or friends. You will place a paper/sign explaining what Boo’ing is. Then you get to act like a spy… All stealth like drop your gift at their doorstop, ring the bell, and RUN!!! Try not to get caught! FYI we get caught like 80% of the time. Though it could be because we are in our car half the time listening to Halloween music, being silly and just having a good time. It’s still fun! We let each kid pick their best friends and we also do a few in our neighborhood to get the fun started. After you have been boo’ed your are then suppose to go out a boo 2 people! Keep it going till hopefully everyone around has been booed!

The joy it brings all the families and children involved makes it all worth it! Especially when you don’t get caught! Then the kids are wondering who left them a gift. Plus, every time we get caught Zayden will say. “That was an epic fail” it cracks me up! Let us know if you do boo bags or if you have been boo’ed before!

Kitty Paw

Kitty Paw is designed by Aza Chen and published by Li-He Studio. It’s a family friendly dexterity puzzle game. Yes, that’s correct all of our favorite things wrapped into one purr-fect game! WHAT COMES IN THE BOX

KittyCards 48 (24 level one, 16 level two, 8 level three)
Cat Box Card 8 (1 of the 8 has a Chihuahua hiding in the box)
Box Card 4 (Pay attention to the orientation you need to use)
Kitty Tiles 28 (4 each of the 7 different kitty types)

HOW TO WIN

The player who collect the most victory points wins. You collect victory points by trying to complete your puzzle first each round to earn your card. Each card will have victory points. If your last to complete your puzzle you flip the card over and receive negative points.

HOW TO SET UP THE GAME

Each player will take 1 of each of the 7 kitty’s & place it in the center of the table. You will mix all of the kitty’s up.
Shuffle the cat box cards and place them around the kitty’s box side up.
Each player takes 1 box card and place it in front of themselves.
Shuffle the each of the kitty card levels into separate stacks. Face them down to make a draw pile I order of difficulty level.
Flip over the first 4 face up.

HOW TO PLAY

To start the game you will stack 1 of your paws in the center of the table and shout “KITTY PAW”
Each player then grabs 1 kitty card they want and place it in front of you. That will be the puzzle you try to complete.
Grabbing 1 kitty tile at a time. Players race to duplicate the puzzle on their kitty card.

If any players think they have completed their puzzle. That player shouts out “MEOW” and performs the lucky cat gesture.
All players stop. Perform the lucky cat gesture and touch the first “meow players” paw with a lucky paw meow. The last player to do this gets the victory points penalty (by flipping over your kitty card).
All player check to see if the first “meow players” puzzle is correct. If it is they will keep their kitty card and collect the victory points. If their puzzle is not correct they will then have to flip over their kitty card and take the victory points penalty.
You repeat the rounds again. Until a player has scored 5 victory points cards. The player with the most victory points win! MEOW!

SHOPKINS SPOT IT

This fun family friendly party game is now in the Shopkins theme! Shopkins is all the rave right now. Especially for girls in the 3rd grade like my daughter. This theme is perfect for Shopkins b-day parties and sleepovers! This is my daughters favorite Spot-it at the moment! We love it!

Spot it is a very quick game. You try to find the matches as fast as you can. Every card will have a match and only one match to each card. Even if you don’t see it. Sometimes it is hard to find the match. We love it because its a game all ages can play. Even though most Spot it’s recommend ages 7 & up. I would say most 3 year olds can play the game. This edition has no words to match, just images.
